Yes. YES.

I am so, so glad someone else said this first. I’ve been afraid to, because I know he doesn’t quite match the usual headcanons we see (the short, chubby, middle-aged man with curly blonde hair vs. the Benedict Cumberbatch!esque younger, more attractive idea), but Stephen Fry’s mannerisms and his way of talking and everything pretty much perfectly shows what I want a live-action Aziraphale to be.  He’s a wonderful actor on top of it all, and I think he would be both adorable and fantastic.

While I do stand by my hope that they will use the miniseries to raise up a new set of brilliant actors into the limelight, if we got Stephen Fry, I would never stop screaming about how happy I was.
